The Russians of Harbin, a city in historic Manchuria that is today the capital of the Chinese province of Heilongjiang, are one of the more interesting diasporas in twentieth-century history.

This one-day symposium brings together Harbiners - including researchers - with scholars of twentieth-century Russian and Chinese history, as well as the history of migration and diasporas. More...
