Transformations of Work in Contemporary Australia
a one-day interdisciplinary workshop

The workshop includes presenters from the departments of philosophy, sociology and economics at Macquarie University, and from the Centre for Research on Social Inclusion. The workshop will explore work in Australia from conceptual, methodological and empirical perspectives; it will consider how the processes that are transforming contemporary workplaces should best be analysed, how work influences politics, and will review issues raised by aggregate labour market data and qualitative research in Australia.
