Membership Structure
CRSI has four categories of membership:

Centre Affiliates
Centre affiliates are Macquarie academics and honorary staff who are interested in the Centre's activities and would like to participate in centre events and and research initiatives. Affiliates' research interests must be aligned with those of the Centre (see Centre description and research clusters). -
Centre Members
Centre members are typically Macquarie research active teaching staff working principally on areas of interest to the centre and who have a track record of participation in Centre activities. Centre members also include the Centre director and deputy directors, research active honorary research fellows and other long term staff of the centre. An affiliate has the opportunity to apply for membership twelve months after joining the Centre. -
Early Career Research Associates
These are Macquarie University PhD graduates working in areas of research strength in the Centre and not yet employed elsewhere. -
Research Students
Doctoral and Masters students enrolled in the Centre, or students enrolled in departments who apply for affiliation with CRSI and whose research interests are aligned to the Centre.
