Intranet for Centre Staff & Members, coming soon...
I currently research (and teach) in the interdisciplinary Health Studies program at Macquarie. This program seeks to foster better understanding of the socio-economic, political, cultural and environmental causes and consequences of health and ill-health at a community and population level, with a view to engaging communities, researchers, health providers, and governments in developing collaborative solutions to health problems that prioritise the prevention of ill-health and the promotion of better health and well-being for all. My three main research interests are: the politics and practice of occupational, environmental, and public health regulation; the geosocial determinants, distribution, and consequences of population health and ill-health; and innovative and ethical management practice.
